Dalton Road, Mosman
Subject cottage is a listed heritage item in a heritage conservation area.
Regardless of its status, we found recent, late 1980’s works to not be fully respectful of the qualities and proportions of the building.
Our brief includes alterations and additions to the ground floor and lower ground floor including an entry lych gate, side pavilion, hard landscaping, exterior pergolas, new stair and interior reconfiguration. A new upper floor master bedroom suite was also designed to fit largely within the existing rook envelope with a number of sympathetic adjustments to the roof to enable light and ventilation to the new level.
Desired end result is to have a large, comfortable home of the highest quality reflective of the local area demand for high quality housing.
Development Approval was given with minimal conditions and works have commenced.
